Wonderful place to visit. Lots of ecological information and well-preserved easily available. Very clean and the sand is soft and white. Lots of seafood restaurants and many areas with no commercial or residential development. Very large area with many easily accessible public access points while not being overcrowded. Lots of hurricane construction so many areas may not be accessible, at this time Fort Pickens is closed to the public.
Lovely area to walk in the shade near the shore. So sad to see how decimated are Park service has been buy budget cut. They're doing their best but they haven't been able to upgrade or add to parhs or surfaces. They haven't been able to replace benches which are mostly rotted away. Would love to see them have enough money to be able to do inventories of Wildlife and plants in the area and offer more education.
Most beautiful beaches in the world! Pure white sand and clean clear emerald waters as far the eye can see. Wonderful place for family vacations and picnics at this most serene place. Go snorkeling and see the plethora of sea creatures in their natural habitat. Much better than any aquarium.
It's breathtakingly beautiful. White sands on both sides of the road and a speed limit of 35 mph for 7 miles is so worth it. I've been here multiple times and you can park anywhere on the 7 mile stretch and capture surreal views.
Beautiful place to visit and very relaxing. I plan to visit there a lot. Summer will be great. We went in December. Very well kept up and clean. Private showers and clean. LOVE IT!
