Service started out good until our order went in. We waited near 30 minutes for our meal. The mashed potatoes were cold in the middle and the scraped the potatoes where the old crust stuff was served and The rest was like warm. The waitress never came by to see how our meal was and never refilled our drinks. Once we finished our meal we waited over 10 minutes for our bill. Ended up just walking up to the cashier where another waitress waited on me. Once I started telling her how our service was she went and got the manager. The manager apologized about being short staffed etc. and reduced our bill by 25% and said she would talk to our server.
We had a good meal, although no two pancakes were the same size, shape or thickness. Our waitress was very cordial and took good care of us; we never went without anything. Staff seemed to be smiling despite just having had a huge holiday spike in traffic. However, the restaurant is in dire need of some upkeep. When you walk in, it's obvious that everything is the same grease stained color of brown, like most grill restaurants would be after a long time. It needs a good paint job and some deep cleaning. I fear there might also be roof issues. Most obvious issue looks like the serving counter in front of the kitchen is collapsing (see the picture attached). If so, that should concern the inspectors. If you just don't worry about that; it is an old restaurant. We enjoyed our visit and the food.
Wonderful food! Anything from breakfast to sandwiches to skillet meals to steaks and desserts. Staff very sweet and fast. So many different meals to choose from. Service fast and special orders welcome. We were so tired from cleaning up after hurricane "Nate" it was wonderful to have a good hot meal in a warm family type restaurant. We were very happy with our food and service.
I love eating at. Denny' s my wonderful niece is a waitress and. I've got to other wonderful friends who work at. Denny' s also. Tarra and. Chelsea all 3 are Awesome and hard dedicated employees and quick to serve they are the best
I really enjoyed both visits i had there. The 1st day i went Mrs. Tracy was my waitress and she did an excellent job. I enjoyed my 1st visit so much i went back the next day.
