Fantastic location. 3 blocks from beach and 1/2 mile from fun downtown shopping and close to downtown district and 5 min to Biloxi casinos. This is a modern beach type cottage and pictures are accurate Now to the negatives that keep it from a 5 star. Wall mounted ductless AC had no chance to keep up with humid July air. Standing water outside of unit made outdoor area unuseable and it only added to hot steaming conditions. The room was nice and bright but did not allow any chance for sleeping in.
WOW! What a fantastic place! My Wife and I stayed in the NOLA cottage for a short getaway. Was blown away at the perfect hideaway cottage. Décor was very upscale, back screened porch was beyond kool, outside shower was perfect. Even had all the kit to grill steak and salmon in the back. We were only 20 miles from the house and it felt like a million! was one of the Very Best Birthday gifts EVER. Thank You Beachfront Cottages & Thank You Christine. We Will Be Back! These are cute and so well appointed. The morning "continental breakfast" that we opted for was perfect to have together in our cottage each morning. The staff was friendly and the prices not too bad. These are not truly "beach front" as you have to walk about 10 minutes and even then you are on a sound, not gulf-facing beach (good for playing in sand but not swimming, at least not at the closest place you come to when walking).
We were only passing through and stayed one night. We will definitely put this on our list to go back to for several days or a week. Within walking distance of local shopping and dining, as well as an oceanfront park. Our Cottage was neat and clean with all the amenities we would need for a week or more stay. The offering of bicycles and kayaks make it very appealing for a place to come back to as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Front beach cottages was truly an amazing place definitely the best kept secret of the greater gulf port area. You have the opportunity to completely emerse yourself in the local community while staying in a private cottage that can easily be called home for your entire stay. There are bikes, kayaks and paddle boards for you use free of charge during your stay and plenty of shopping and dinning all within walking distance of your cottage. There are also of course several beaches at your fingertips just a block or so away. I stayed in the Key West Cabana and it was uniquely decorated to feel like I was in the keys, I definitely enjoyed reading on my front porch hammock. Finally the best part of the whole experience was how quiet it was. My stay at front beach cottages was by far the best vacation I have had, and I travel a lot! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet cozy spot to spend their vacation.
