Free Ocean Springs History museum is fascinating! This building is the school circa 1927 that was closed & abandoned for 20 years. A local artist delightfully harassed Senator Trent Lott until funds were appropriated to bring this lovely building back to life.

Went to the Mary C for a taping of Thucker Mountain Radio and I not only realized how much wonderful opportunity I have missing out on (cooking classes offered, and other wonderful classes) but also fell in love with this building and the people in it. If you have not had the pleasure of going here and enjoying something wonderful I HIGHLY suggested that you don't deprive yourself of the opportunity.

May 2016 offered an excellent Young Soloists performance (I attended last night) with beautiful attire and fun MC. Upcoming this month (I registered) lunch and learn and culinary /cooking classes featuring New Orleans chef.
Easy to find and plenty of parking.

There's a small theater inside, and a state of the art teaching kitchen with cafe. Classes & summer camps for all ages.
